Save $20 On A $50+ Whole Foods Purchase With Hyatt’s Credit Card

There’s a cool new promotion available on the Hyatt Credit Card, which I think quite a few people will get value out of. Between August 14 and September 25, 2017, those with Hyatt’s credit card can receive a $20 statement credit when they spend $50 or more in a single transaction at a US Whole Foods Market.

In order to receive a statement credit, members must register their 16-digit Hyatt Card number and mobile number (to receive confirmation notifications about the offer) before making a purchase. Each eligible card member can only take advantage of this promotion once. The statement credit should post within 5-10 days of when the eligible purchase is made.

The full terms of the promotion are as follows:

Register before using your Hyatt Credit Card to shop at any Whole Foods Market in the U.S. and get a $20 statement credit for spending $50 or more in a single purchase at Whole Foods with your Hyatt Credit Card betweenAugust 14, 2017 to September 25, 2017.

Allow approximately 5-10 days to receive your statement credit, subject to card issuer’s timing and processing of statement credit.

Available at Whole Foods Market stores in the U.S. Purchases at stores not correctly classified as a Whole Foods location for credit processing will not qualify for this offer. Offer not available for online purchases or purchases made through Instacart.

Limit one offer redemption per card.

Visa is wholly responsible for the provision of or failure to provide the stated benefits and services. Chase and Hyatt are not responsible for providing the stated benefits or services.

If you’re a Whole Foods shopper and have the Hyatt Card, taking advantage of this promotion is a no brainer. It’s nice to see promotions like this on Hyatt’s Card. This almost feels like an Amex Offer promotion, which Amex offers on most of their cards.

The Hyatt Card is worth holding onto for the annual free night certificate alone, in my opinion. However, we also occasionally see promotions that add even further value. For example, at the moment there’s also a 10% refund on points redemptions for those with Hyatt’s co-branded credit card.

Do you plan on taking advantage of the Whole Foods offer on the Hyatt Card?

  1. If I didn’t read your blog I’d have never found out about the promotion! I have the Hyatt card and didn’t get anything from them – no email, no snail mail, nothing on my online account, zilch! Thanks for the heads up!

  2. I signed up but never received confirmation text…undid see confirmation on screen. Anyone else have the issue?

  3. Hyatt sent an email this afternoon with this offer. But when I clicked the link to register I get a message saying the offer is no longer available

  4. Sorry to be dimwitted but I can’t seem to find this offer plus the registration page you posted advises it must be done by June 20, 2017.

  5. I registered for this promotion and received a text confirmation on 8/14/2017.

I made a $50 purchase at Whole Foods on 8/20/2017 but have not received the promised statement credit of $20.

Numerous calls later, Chase told me today (9/5/2017) that this was a VISA issue and I should take up the issue with them directly.

Anyone else getting this run around? Is this promotion a hoax or what?

  6. Yes getting the same run around, made two transactions, no $20 credit, there is no contact information at all on the offer where to submit claim or make contact with the party that is offering the statement credit.
