Earn Bonus Starpoints For Stays At Le Meridien Hotels

In the interest of full disclosure, One Mile At A Time earns a referral bonus for anyone that’s approved through some of the below links. These are the best publicly available offers that we have found for each card. Please check out our advertiser policy for further details about the partners we work with. Thanks for your support!

In addition to Starwood’s global “More For You” promotion, Starwood is also running several more specific promotions. I’ve just learned about a new promotion being offered specifically for Le Meridien properties.

You can earn bonus Starpoints for stays at Le Meridien properties in North America and Latin America (see here for a full list of participating properties) as follows:

  • 1,000 bonus Starpoints on the first eligible Le Meridien stay
  • 2,000 bonus Starpoints on each subsequent Le Meridien stay

You can earn an unlimited number of points, and registration is required by November 15, 2016, while the promotion is valid for stays through February 15, 2017. Bonus Starpoints should post 2-4 weeks after completion of an eligible stay.

I value Starpoints at ~2.2 cents each, so to me this is an additional return of ~$22 on your first stay, and an additional return of ~$44 on subsequent stays. Not bad, especially since this is an add-on promotion.

As stated above, these bonus points are in addition to the bonus points you can earn through Starwood’s current global promotion, as well as their promotion offering 5,000 bonus Starpoints after paying for 15 nights with the Starwood Preferred Guest® Credit Card from American Express.

Will you be able to take advantage of this promotion for bonus Starpoints on a Le Meridien stay?

  1. Checked rates for my upcoming stays in New Orleans, Dallas and San Francisco. Le Meridien runs about double what I’ve already booked (at Hilton properties). Doesn’t seem worth the premium to me, even with the bonus SPG points. Are Le Meridein properties that much better than Hilton? Never stayed in one.

  2. Is anyone having difficulty registering for the promo? When I click on the register button I am redirected to a spg login page, not the promo sign up page.

  3. @Robert D, too bad. I just stayed at Le Meridien NOLA for a work trip, it’s a really nice property. I was finding more or less equivalent rates to other nearby Starwood properties. The Hilton is definitely cheaper but the locations aren’t as great – I know there’s one connected to the convention center, and one which is better in the commercial district.
