Incredible Deal: Oman Air Business Class From Asia To Europe For $1,000 Roundtrip

Oman Air has one of the best business class products in the world. Ben flew with them last year and discovered that their rare business class seat was actually his favorite in the skies.

Their new business class is on their 787s and some A330s.

This is a rare product that is only available on Oman Air, Japan Airlines, and select Korean Air aircraft. Meanwhile, their old business class is also great. It looks more reminiscent of first class on many airlines.

There are very few ways to redeem miles for Oman Air flights, making their business class even more inaccessible. When combined with their limited route network, few people get to experience Oman Air.

Well, there is a deal at the moment that may allow some of you to try them out. From October to December you can fly business class from Kuala Lumpur to Munich starting at just $1,000 roundtrip!

The flights are not available every day, but can be found pretty consistently through mid-December. You can search Google Flights or Oman Air’s website directly. However, if you search Google Flights, it seems like their systems have not caught up with the lower price, because they display a price of over $3,000!

Click to book with Oman Air – the price is far lower on their website.

Whether or not you get the new business class product should depend on which day you decide to fly. In any case, once you are on the Oman Air website, you should search Kuala Lumpur to Munich. There will be prices around MYR4100, which equates to just $1,000!

This price of MYR4166.90 is considerably lower than the MYR14,000+ listed on Google Flights!

Overall, this is one of the best business class fares we’ve ever seen on Oman Air. If you happen to be around Malaysia at this time, or want to try to product badly enough to position there, this is a fare you don’t want to miss! If you live in Munich, this could even be a great deal for a return flight from Asia. That way you could book your outbound ticket with miles, and return on this fare.

  1. Can’t wait to book this incredible fare, show up late to the flight, try to cut the line, and then complain about everyone else on my blog!

  2. What is it about OMAAT that attracts people posting nasty and unhelpful comments? If the moderators don’t wish to censor, then how about a Reddit-style system so that other readers can vote to hide those comments with negative scores?

  3. Have you heard about some recent Malaysian Airlines promotion> I recently booked BKK to SYD (via KUL) for 37,000 THB (roughly USD 1,050)!

  4. Very useful , good to see some value options ex Asia. This one, the Malaysia fare mentioned and some Vietnam fares = decent value in J

  5. @Daniel
How are you using it to return from an award? Can’t find the price booking one way. What date are you getting it?

  6. Just booked it, thanks for the tip! Got an under $100 positioning flight from BKK on Air Asia…this actually worked well for me as I wanted a quick trip to Germany in November….

I will have a late arrival into Muscat near midnight and departure next day at 2pm…any ideas for an easy overnight or enough time to see anything?

  7. @August
The closest reasonable hotel arriving at that time of night is the Tulip, about 1.5kms from the airport…..There may be a shuttle, otherwise you go to the cab booth just to the right of the Arrivals exit and pre-pay in Oman Rial, receiving a docket to give to the (Omani) taxi driver. The hotel & airport are about 20kms from the main city/port…..if you are an early riser you could negotiate a car and driver for the morning and be back at check-in by 12:30noon. Not an awful lot to see but if you do want a “been there, seen that” experience, the old port and adjacent souq is worth the effort. (Depending upon your passport, you may need to purchase a visa-upon-arrival for your stay. Have a look onlin).

  8. Yes. And if you go and find the original source from which this silly boy stole this deal from you’ll know which airline is best to credit to.

  9. Thanks Daniel,

For this great tip! I just booked it for that price to Munich…unbelievable!
The flight connection is very good too.

I was about to book and fly with Saudia for usd1500 to Paris, with a 5 hours layover, then get a cheap flight onwards.

    This saved me over usd500!

I owe u a dinner if yr journey takes u thru KUL.

    Hugh Thanks!

  10. Just nabbed 4 x KUL to MUC in business for A$5,900 in total departing in December, returning in January. We’ve flown with them before for a great price from KUL to CDG but this fare is an amazing bargain. First rate hard product and pretty good food and service.
