Airport Cell Phone Crashing: Holiday Edition

Airport Cell Phone Crashing: Holiday Edition

7

I’m sad to be traveling for Christmas this year. I love my family and spending time with them, but I told them early on I wouldn’t be there this year, so we’ll have a makeshift Christmas when I get back.

While I have a glam day of flying tomorrow, today I’m basically just shuttling around the Middle East/Central Asia, which is anything but glamorous.

And I’m feeling better about that after all the texts I’ve received from friends telling me about their absolutely horribly awkward holiday family time.

So for those of you celebrating (and those of you not), here’s some lighthearted humor that will hopefully break up your day a bit. I love Mediocre Films on YouTube. He’s hilarious, especially when he does his “Cell Phone Crashing” videos, whereby he crashes peoples’ cell phone calls in public areas.

Just a few days ago he published his latest, which is an airport holiday edition.

Check out the two videos below:

Hilarious, or what?

Reading that you're travelling on Xmas day, I presume all worked out well? Hope to see you in AUH.

@ Joey -- Had that post scheduled before all the drama. Update shortly. :)

@Mike - Guessing he wants to be the first to review the Etihad Apartment, which debuts now.

Ben maybe this is a personal question so feel free not to answer. Given the fact that you don't "have" to be anywhere over Christmas, why not choose to spend it at home?

@ Mike -- I spend Christmas at home every year with my parents. This is the first year where that's not the case, as I was hoping to be on the inaugural Etihad A380 flight.

It is good to remember on this Christmas that true believers are those who focus on living a righteous, compassionate life, recognizing that we are all connected. Some people may call that connection love, others may call it God and we can be Christian, Jew, Hindu, Moslem, Bhudist, Agnostic or Atheist, but it’s the focus living a life that enhances rather than undermines such connection that is holy. And, like you, I do my best not to forget that.
    Merry Christmas.
