Here’s an amazing offer from American Express. If you have a small business American Express card, log into your online account, select the small business card, and click on “Amex Offers For You” at the bottom of the page.


The first offer you see should be for $150 back on an AT&T Wireless purchase. Spend $150 or more by April 15, 2015, and get $150 back. Here’s how it’s described:

I have my cell phone bill on auto pay and usually use the Ink Plus® Business Credit Card to pay the bill, since I earn 5x Ultimate Rewards points with the card. That being said, I just pre-paid $150 of my bill using the Starwood Preferred Guest® Business Card from American Express.

Here are the full terms of the promotion:

Offer valid for wireless bill pay for AT&T AutoPay or one-time payment only. Must add offer to Business Card from American Express OPEN (“Card”) and use same Card to redeem. Limit one $150 statement credit per American Express online account. Statement credit will appear on your American Express billing statement within 90 days after April 15, 2015, provided that American Express receives information from the merchant about your qualifying transaction. Enrollment limited. Offer is non-transferable. In order to be eligible for the offer, you must enroll your Card and use that Card to pay your wireless bill or other service charges online directly with AT&T at or by phone at 1800-331-0500. Purchases for equipment or prepaid, U-verse, web hosting, or wireline services that do not appear on your AT&T wireless bill are excluded from this offer. Your payment must be in the amount of $150 or more in a single transaction and completed by April 15, 2015. Payments at retail locations or via third party resellers do not qualify. Note that American Express may not receive information about your qualifying transaction from the merchant until that qualifying transaction has been fully processed. Statement credit may be reversed if qualifying transaction is returned/cancelled. If American Express does not receive information that identifies your transaction as qualifying for the offer, you will not receive the statement credit. These Amex promotions are often a great way to save money, though this is among the best I’ve ever seen. Since I’m an AT&T customer, this is like $150 in my pocket.

Do note that enrollment is limited and I don’t expect this will last. So you’ll want to take advantage of this ASAP.

  1. this offer was in both mine and hubby’s account. I saved both offers. As long as they are saved they will stay there until I use it, correct?

    Also, does it matter whose name the wireless bill is under? That is, can I use hubby’s card to prepay on the wireless bill in my name?

  2. It looks like it only appears on the Business cards. I have 2 SPG and 2 Delta and got the offer on each one of them (just the business not the personal ones). Remember to register on many cards as you can at the same time…. 😉

    I too do not have AT&T…but I do have a family member who does.

    Since I got the offer on my Amex Business Gold, I’ll offer to pay their $150 towards their bill. I’m sure it will come back to me somehow, someway…maybe even a nice dinner!!

  11. Thanks, Ben. I would have overlooked it. Worked great on my SPG Business Card. But no offer on my Platinum Business or my wife’s Platinum Business. So apparently it is specific to certain AMEX Business cards.

  12. Were others able to apply the credit to a friend or family members AT&T account (assuming they themselves did not have AT&T wireless)?

    Was it difficult?

    Did the charge and credit apply right away?

    Would appreciate any feedback from those that have either done it themselves or for a friend or family?

  13. It appears the offer is still available 1+ month after it was published. I was able to register my AmEx Business Platinum card for the offer today. I’m not an AT&T customer, and will use the credit to help pay a family member’s bill.
