Today Only: Free Uber Rides To SFO

To celebrate the opening of the American Express Centurion Lounge, Uber is offering free Uber Black rides to San Francisco Airport today.

To be eligible:

  • Add your American Express card to your Uber profile, and make sure it’s set to be the primary card
  • Apply the code “CENTURIONSFO”

The credit will be applied automatically as long as your destination is San Francisco Airport.

If you’re traveling elsewhere today, keep in mind you can still get 2x Membership Rewards points on Uber rides. And new users can get a $30 sign up bonus as well.

(Tip of the hat to @thepointsguy)

  1. NOOOOOOOOO! I fly out tomorrow for PHX to MS spend gathering…………but I will be there early to check out the cub…..

  2. @JustSaying : I also will be at SFO from 9 am for my flight to Charlotte with Us Airways (depart at around 11 am). Do you want to meet up and talk about points and miles? always good to get to know fellow points and miles travelers in person, especially from same Bay Area :). Let me know.

@Lucky: will you also be there tmrw?

  3. I wonder if origin matters? TPG’s tweet specifically says “from San Francisco” to SFO – which might imply that the freebie is only for rides billed at the city flat rate. In other words, not valid from even-closer cities on the Peninsula (Daly City, San Bruno, Burlingame, etc.) where distance/time-based rates apply?
