Don’t Watch This Video

You can’t say I didn’t warn you.

This is quite possibly the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen. I don’t know if I mean that in a good way or bad way. I’m still trying to decide. And that’s after playing this video on repeat nonstop for the past 24 hours (with Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off” in the mix at least once an hour, just to maintain my sanity).

This gives the Southwest Airlines “Just Plane Fun” shuffle a run for its money.

And it’s perhaps almost as great as what’s otherwise the awesomest video ever shot at an airport.

In all honesty, kudos to the American Airlines employees in Miami for shooting the video — it looks like they’re having a blast, and that’s not something we see very often.

What do you think of the American video, or which of the above is your favorite? 🙂

(Tip of the hat to The Forward Cabin)

  1. @Lucky, unrelated question. Which is airline has a better deal (in terms of buying their miles now) and easier to redeem Cathay Pacific first class from US to Asia, US miles or AS miles? Thanks!

  2. Nope.

I love me some bad flash mob/office song videos, etc, and I’ve always been a fan of the Southwest and Munich videos you posted, but I couldn’t even finish this AA video. Not good enough or bad enough to be good, and the song was catchy in a Barney “I love you, you love me” way that makes you want to jab yourself in the ear to make it stop.

  3. @ Silver — All depends where you’re looking to go. Alaska does let you book one way and with a stopover, so if that’s a consideration then it’s tough to beat them. Good luck!

  4. NOW I understand the reason for your warning. Whoa, that AA video was a real stretch to watch, too rehearsed. I couldn’t finish it. Out of the 3, the Munich one is still MY favorite!

  5. While the MIA crew deserves props for that Munich takes the cake. Seamless strings are awesome and they pulled it off well!

  6. Yep
I like Miami the best. I don’t see what anybody sees in the Munich video, just an amateur production number with everyone out of time and rhythm at the end.
