A Couple Of Awesome Crosswind Landing Videos

There’s nothing I love more than some good crosswind landing videos. Here are a couple that have been posted in the past week that are especially awesome/terrifying:

They certainly give the Birmingham Airport go around videos a run for their money.

  1. I once landed in 2007 at Princess Juliana Airport in Sint Maarten on an exceptionally windy day. As many know, the approach to the runway is a mere few feet from the water. The wind plus the wake from the planes created quite a sand cloud coming in.

  2. Surprised you are watching these after your Royal Jordanian flight last year! Glutton for punishment or extinction therapy?

  3. I wonder if the Asiana pilots would have the ability to make split second decisions in dangerous cross wind situations like these?
