  1. Hi Lucky-

Any MR-able fares you can recommend for this which are valid before the end of the year? Was thinking of doing a DFW-LHR run, but it is coming out rather pricey (though 77W with C space on the upside).

  2. For those looking to use this for a MR, this isn’t a double EQM promo, only RDMs. I think only EQMs count for challenges as well.

  3. @Yong — Yes, I realize that. But if I am going to travel the flown miles anyway, getting double RDM is nice.

  4. Can you please remember to add your opinion about your usage of the deals or not? Some of us live vicariously through the blog. There is a compliment I’m trying to convey here, just can’t get the words right…

  5. @ JohnBom — Thanks for the suggestion. I’ll do a further analysis of this, but posted this before getting on a longhaul flight and didn’t have time, so figured I was better off at least mentioning it for the time being.

  6. Do AA flight numbers operated by JL count for the promo?

And for EXP, you’re essentially getting 4x rdm? (2x promo 2x exp bonus)

  7. @ E — It’s double base miles, so as an EXP you earn a total of 3x miles. Flights have to be operated by American to qualify, though they can be marketed by Japan Airlines.
