Chase Ink increased sign-up bonuses extended for one more day!

Update: This offer for the Ink Plus® Business Credit Card is expired. Please check out the current list of the best current travel credit cards.

    • Ink Plus® Business Credit Card — Credit Card
    • Ink Bold® Business Charge Card — Charge Card

I’ve written extensively about the increased sign-up bonuses on the Ink Bold, Ink Plus, and Ink Cash® cards, in celebration of Small Business Week. These offers were all supposed to expire yesterday, though they’ve been extended till early tomorrow morning.

Anyway, both the Ink Bold and Ink Plus are offering 60,000 point sign-up bonuses after spending $5,000 on the card within three months, which is 10,000 more points than usual. Meanwhile the Ink Cash is offering 25,000 points after spending $3,000 within three months, which is 5,000 more points than usual. I wrote about the benefits of the no annual fee Ink Cash card in this post.

So anyway, if you haven’t yet signed up for the cards, this is your real last chance… apparently. 😉

(In the interest of full disclosure, I earn a referral bonus for anyone approved through the above links. All are for the best available offers. Thanks for your support!)

  1. Used your link yesterday and surprisingly got instant approval. Thanks as always for all the travel insights.

  2. Against your suggestion, since I has been approved for the united business card a week ago, I decided to go for the bold n got pending. (Used your link) Will be calling the recon line Monday. Any tips on my speech on why I need the bold in addition to my united business card?

  3. ahhh!! I’m so conflicted right now!! here’s why:

My United Explorer is about to hit it’s annual due date next month so was originally planning to open the Sapphire Preferred and, if need be, transfer credit line over before closing it. With the temporary increase on the Ink Bold, I’ve been contemplating on which to open. I thought about getting both, but I also received the widely targeted email from Citi AA for 50k and was planning to do a small AoR with just 2 cards. $8k spend in 3 months is already hefty enough, even with all the various manufacturing methods on 2 cards, but attempting $11k in 3 months is way out of my comfort zone!!! =( What would you do in my situation?

  4. @ Al — You shouldn’t have too hard of a time justifying it based on the bonus categories. You can explain you spend a lot of money at office supply stores or on gas, hotels, etc.

Good luck and please let us know how it goes!

  5. @ Thomas — Why not go for the Citi AAdvantage card and Chase Ink Bold now, and then in the future you can open the Chase Sapphire Preferred? You shouldn’t have any issue transferring credit lines from a United Explorer to a Chase Sapphire Preferred when you choose to apply.

  6. I was trying to avoid having to do another AoR until a few months down the road and also avoid the annual fee of the United card. BUT, this may be the best option at the moment. Also, I know we shouldn’t use Citi cards to buy VC in fear of the cash advance fees, but is it safe to use AP for Citi manufacturing?

  7. @ Thomas — Haven’t heard of any issues with Amazon Payments on Citi cards in moderation.

  8. Good to know! I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the Bold, since I already have the Plus. Like many others, I didn’t get instant approved, which is to be expected of a business application. on SD, people are noting to do the following:

call and check on the status of your application and not bug a CSR do the following:
    1) Call 1-800-432-3117
    2) Press #, 2, 1, then enter your SSN
    3) If system says something like “Congratulations, you are approved…..”

I guess Chase doesn’t require to verify your company info, like it did when I applied for the Plus 10 months back? I guess I’ll wait til tomorrow to call the above number to check status and if necessary, I will call recon line.

Good news is… got approved for AA next! =)

  9. I signed up a couple weeks ago and just got my card (although I already had dropped 2K on delta flights, just missed it..drats)

Does the card or package come with any notification that you qualified for the bonus? I signed up through the link provided, but wanted to figure out how to make sure I get the bonus

  10. @ Mike — If you signed up through the link you’ll get the bonus, though if you want to verify you can call up the number on the back of your card and they can confirm.
