And we’re live again!

On Thursday night I posted about BoardingArea being down for a bit due to a server upgrade. I’m not much of a tech guy, but apparently it had something to do with my mom refreshing my blog too often, and that they just couldn’t handle the strain she was putting on it anymore.

Anyway, unlike the last time the server upgrade was supposed to happen in February, it was successful this time, even if it was a rough two days for me.

Thanks for being patient, and now comments and everything should be functioning as normal again. I’ve also been meaning to update the design of the blog (not in any meaningful way, but just so it doesn’t look straight out of 2003), so that will be happening soon as well.

If any of you experienced withdrawal over the past two days, my condolences (not for the fact that the blog was down, but that it plays such a meaningful part in your life). Just kidding, of course. 😉

Thanks as always to everyone for reading, I sincerely appreciate it!

  1. YAY! Awesome! I had a bit of a withdrawal too but managed to fix it by enjoying the first day of summer outside! 🙂

  2. Ben, as part of the redesign, please consider putting the date at the top of each post instead of the bottom. Helps us forgetful older guys remember where we got last time.

  3. My fax is only halfway done receiving, can you explain what you wrote after “to get 1 million UR points, click the button to the left of the…”?

  4. Don’t change the design *too* much. I think the pleasant color scheme and simplicity are part of what keeps me coming back. That and all the Diet Coke photos, of course.
