ANA offering 50 miles for completing survey about new San Jose to Tokyo route

ANA will be launching 787 service between Tokyo and San Jose early next year, and they’ve sent out a survey about the new route to Mileage Club members. The email indicates that Mileage Club members will receive 50 miles upon completion of the survey.

While this survey was only sent out to select members, in my experience ANA honors the bonus for everyone with these types of surveys (and if they don’t, well, the survey literally only takes a minute).

While 50 miles isn’t a lot, keep in mind that ANA has one of the most useful websites for searching award space, and they require you to have a mileage balance in order to access some of the functions of the website, and this could fulfill that requirement. The survey will apparently be open through September 30.

(Tip of the hat to Sandeep)

  1. Is the ANA mileage club card a credit card? I’m trying to get an ANA membership number and the only way I see to get it is to fill out the application for the ANA Mileage Club Card. I even started the process and can’t quite tell if this is a CC app. (Yes, I’m a bit of a noob.) Thanks in advance for any info.

  2. @ Andrea — Nope, just an application to join their frequent flyer program. I promise they won’t ask for your social security, hah.

  3. hi, how can I have 50 or 100 ANA miles? I don’t want to transfer 1,000 points from American Express. I just want to do search. Today is Feb 4, 2014. The surveys you mentioned is closed.

  4. @ happyrichbeauty — I don’t know of any surveys at the moment, your best option would be to transfer some points from a partner program.
