1,000 free American miles for existing Citi AAdvantage cardmembers

As part of their “30 Deals in 30 Days” promotion, American is offering 1,000 miles to existing AAdvantage Citi cardmembers that register here. Simply follow the link and click on “Already a Citi/AAdvantage Cardmember? Click Here.” If you’re eligible, the 1,000 bonus miles will post to your account by June 15.

  1. Anyone figure out a way to get bonus miles for holding 2 citi AA cards? I’ve got both a personal and small business card.

  2. Where is the “Already a Citi/AAdvantage Cardmember? Click Here.” part??

    I’m not seeing it.

  3. Gone, Daddy, gone — the love is gone. The deal got yAAnked mid-day according to the FT discussion.

  4. I don’t see the link either. I receive the email as I hold a personal & business card from Citibank. I have written them an email regarding the link not allowing me to sign up as their email indicated and that I want my account register and to please respond. I am going to hold them to their word. I have it all in writing from their email. This is ridiculous. I’ll post my result when I hear back.

  5. I received the email from Citibank as well, but got to the website yesterday after they’d taken down the link for existing cardmembers. I sent Citi a message through the online account website last night and they responded that they’ll credit my account with the 1000 miles. No idea why the promo link was pulled, but I’m glad that they’re willing to follow through with the miles. Still, it’s annoying that it had to go down this way.

  6. @Lando,

What did you say in your secured email? I just emailed and they responded with a number to american airlines. No help at all!
