The important question to ask is where did Lucky get those two hats?

    Maybe here:

Alright, clearly I misunderstood you. Let's move on.

I use to read your blog Lucky, now I go straight to the comment section

C'mon people... if you don't like reading about it simply don't read it. Lucky is a college student living an amazing life. If he lived a normal life it wouldn't be a worthwhile and interesting blog

Thanks for the entertainment, folks! I promise all the details of the trip will be coming with the trip report, very soon.

@ Dan -- Not receiving miles, but I'm not complaining (much to reader "mark's" dismay).

@ Roland -- I'm disappointed in myself for actually discussing this, but I'll do it nonetheless. I see no reason to use an emoticon here. C'mon, you read my blog often, how on earth could I complain about...

C'mon, you read my blog often, how on earth could I complain about free stuff? What do you think is going through my head, every night when I get back to my room and there's something new on my bed? Something like "damnit, how dare they give me free stuff, I'm so angry?" No, I'm actually thinking "wow, that's pretty damn cool." I'm a sarcastic person, and given how long you've been reading my blog, I would've thought you picked up on that by now, no? Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the feedback and always try to see things from others' perspectives, but in this case I just can't.

I can't wait to read the trip report!

  7. Andrew Gold

Lucky, please ignore the haters here. That's an awesome amount of free stuff to take home--love the hats!

And @Dan, if you actually read his blog, you'd know the answer to your question about miles already.

...all these jealous bitches pissing on my blog.

Hey Lucky, hit up Walmart. They have a $10 foldable duffel bag that' really good sized when in use. When it's not in use it's about 10x10 and a 1/4" thick and a zipper keeps it all in place.

Btw if you don't want the swag...send it to me I can find a use for it ;).

I am thinking we should all take turns completing the title of the post:

    ...The morning after?

...Leaving without the AA girls' phone number?

@Roland: If a joke must be flagged with an emoticon for you to identify it, then, buddy, you really need to work on your sense of humor. Read up on irony, maybe?

  13. chitownflyer Guest

I think Lucky is being a bit sarcastic in his post. As a side note, I always carry a large duffel bag in my suitcase that folds up and takes minimal space, so then it is easy to check an extra bag if I find good items during the trip.

    Opps -----
    Lucky,
You haven't given us any hint yet as to how you liked Mendoza in particular and Argentina in general ----------

  15. senorric Guest

    Lucky,
    You haven't given

  16. JRL Guest

It was a teaser for the trip report and an update on how things are going in Argentina. I for one appreciate it. Lucky is actually pretty modest with his Coins... There is nothing wrong with some boasting.

    Ben,

No response to my question about receiving miles?? Your answer will affect how I read this blog in the future.

  18. Eric Guest

I'm guessing that Lucky is not really planning on bringing all that home. I mean, c'mon - the mini shampoo/conditioner/body lotion bottles? He's not bringing that crap home.

  19. jr Guest

start by throwing out the hats.

  20. Roland Guest

Understood. Maybe an emoticon would be better then ;)

  21. lucky Guest

@ Roland -- Frankly I'm shocked anyone interpreted this as anything but an attempt to be humorous. That was certainly the purpose...

  22. caelus Guest

.......and for those who think this is "bragging", better not read his trip reports :)

  23. Roland Guest

While I can understand that Lucky was not trying to be offensive, somehow I cannot see how the post would be interpreted as humour.

  24. caelus Guest

See? people in this blog have no sense of humor........;)

  25. Scott Guest

I hate to agree with Roland, but it seems like the recent posts have been a bit more bragging about what you're getting for free, by trying to make it seem like a negative.... I really used to enjoy reading your posts, but they seem to have really changed to being less informative and more gloating.

Coins, I do what Richard does. I suggest you buy a cheap bag at one of those tourist stores. BTW, I hope you negotiated receiving miles for the flight as part of the deal.

@Roland: A little bit of whining while actually showing off and being happy about something. Not unusual at all I think.

    Lucky,
I'm usually your biggest fan but posts like this really irks me. You're flying International Business Class, something 99% of the average Joe will never experience, let alone for FREE, yet you still conjure up a downside to being given a free business class flight and a bucketload of goodies. Even if your post was not intended to be that way at least consider rephrasing as when I read the title it came out quite negative.

  30. Richard Guest

do what i do when i fly to seminars and conferences - fly out with an empty suitcase....

    Did you post this twice?
