Double Hyatt Gold Passport base points at properties in the Southeast

Through April 24, Hyatt is offering double Gold Passport base points for stays at 14 participating properties in the Southeast. In and of itself this isn’t compelling, though if you’re a Diamond member, this can make a weekend stay even more lucrative. At least a couple of these hotels have closed club lounges on weekends (which gets you 2,500 bonus points as a Diamond), G3 bonuses (1,500 bonus points), the Diamond amenity bonus (1,000 bonus points), plus the base points. So for a $100 rate, you’re looking at around 6,250 points for a one night stay. Not too shabby, and you can do better than $100/night at some of these properties.

To take advantage of this promotion, simply use promotion code 10GPX2. If you get a higher rate when trying to use the code, make the booking without it and call customer service after the reservation has been made to add the promotion code.

Anyway, this is something to keep in mind, especially when Hyatt announces their systemwide promotion in March.

  1. Dear Hyatt,

Indianapolis, Cleveland, Cincinnati, and Columbus are no longer located in the southeast.

    Your pal,

  2. Ben,

According to Hyatt’s website, this promotion is for double bonus points–not base points. Did Hyatt change the offer after you posted? The only reason I bring this up is because I’m wondering whether this is combinable with a G2/G3 code, and if not, which one is more lucrative to use…
