1. You say you don’t understand why JetBlue would not oversell it’s flights but the concept is quite simple. It’s a lesson in humility. Would you rather have 10 passengers per day upset and furious with the airline creating a twitter-fest of bad press that they were involuntarily bumped or would you prefer to fill all of your seats and get everyone where they are going happily? Even if people don’t show up for their flight the airline still keeps the money regardless so no loss out of their pocket.

    That being said I’m sure you would never consider flying JetBlue for the sole reason that you could never be voluntarily bumped. I know you are always on the lookout for the best possible deals, free hotels, free flighs, upgrades, etc. Have you ever thought about working for an airline? There is no easier way to fly first class for free. šŸ˜‰
