What you are actually seeing here is a brand shift with regards to cabins where the new “Business Class” occupies the position that the old “First Class” used to and the new “Premium Economy” becomes the de-facto “Business Class”. It’s been an inevitable step ever since Business Class products started going in for flat beds and similar bells and whistles. The revenue premium that Fist Class commands simply wasn’t justifiable anymore to most previous consumers.
