Quick And Easy Way To Earn 250 Free Aeroplan Miles

aeroplan-bonus

Aeroplan (which is Air Canada’s spun off points program) has offered quite a few opportunities to pick up free miles lately, and now they’re back with their newest promotion.

You can earn 250 free Aeroplan miles if you tell Aeroplan about a recent travel experience. This is most useful for those with existing Aeroplan mileage balances, since miles expire after a year of inactivity, so participating in this should extend the life of your miles.

Taking advantage of this promotion should only take about a minute — you need to enter your name, email address, Aeroplan number, and some very basic details about your trip, like where you traveled to, and why.

1,000 Free Aeroplan Miles In Less Than A Minute

Air-Canada-777-Business-Class - 63

Aeroplan, the independent loyalty program of Air Canada, has published a quick quiz to test your knowledge of their program. You earn 1,000 Aeroplan miles for participating, and it takes no time to complete.

Fortunately, as Aeroplan and I apparently exist in different realities, it doesn’t seem to matter whether or not you get the answers “correct.”

Some are downright falsehoods:

Even More Free Virgin America Points!

free-virgin-miles-1

In September there were two opportunities to earn free Virgin America points by signing up to receive emails from two Virgin-family brands (the first was through Virgin Hotels, and the next one through Virgin Sport).

Well, there’s yet another opportunity to earn 500 Elevate points for signing up to receive emails. This time around you can earn 500 free Elevate points if you sign up to receive emails from Virgin Produced by October 26, 2016.

I value Virgin America Elevate points at ~2.2 cents each, so to me the 500 points are worth ~$11. That’s super easy for signing up to receive emails, especially since you can cancel your email subscription in the future. This will also extend the expiration of your Virgin America points, which otherwise expire after 18 months of inactivity. Also keep in mind that since Alaska will soon be taking over Virgin America, these points will eventually be converted into Alaska Mileage Plan miles.

1,000 Free Aeroplan Miles For Enrolling In Fairmont President’s Club

Air-Canada-777-Business-Class - 1

Air Canada’s Aeroplan program is one of the more useful Star Alliance frequent flyer programs, and I book quite a few awards through them. At the moment there’s an opportunity to pick up some easy miles with them.

Per Frequent Flyer Bonuses, you can earn 1,000 bonus Aeroplan miles by registering for the Fairmont President’s Club loyalty program by November 15, 2016, using enrollment code FED16.

You’ll want to include the enrollment code and your Aeroplan number on the application to be sure you’re eligible.

I didn’t receive the actual email with the offer, so can’t confirm how long it will take for miles to post, but I imagine it’ll take a few weeks.

Delta Is Giving Seattle Residents Free Miles

Delta-12Status

For a couple of years now, Alaska and Delta have been at war in Seattle. Historically Alaska is Seattle’s hometown airline. Then a few years back Alaska and Delta announced that they’d grow together. Delta launched a bunch of new international flights out of Seattle, with the intention of Alaska providing the regional feed for those flights.

That worked great for a while, but then Delta realized that they didn’t actually need Alaska to provide that regional feed, and that they could just operate those flights themselves. So they did, and they’ve been growing every since.

Beyond actually growing their flights, they’ve done everything in their power to try and appeal to Seattleites, though many would argue they’re going about it all wrong.

Beyond that they’ve copied many things that make Alaska unique, from their 20 minute baggage guarantee to their special club for citizens of the state of Alaska.

FREE Miles At OfficeMax & Office Depot This Week

giftcards

I tend to shop at Office Max and Office Depot quite a bit. I don’t really need many office supplies, but I do like their gift card racks! Usually I’m just buying rather boring gift cards to retailers that we tend to shop at anyway like Amazon, Home Depot, and the like.

My thinking is that by making the purchase using a credit card that earns multiple points per dollar at office supply stores, I’m earning more miles on our everyday purchases than I would otherwise.

Then because I live in one of their Everything Rewards test markets, I also get 2% back in store credit, even on gift cards. That’s pretty compelling, and if nothing more, caused me to shift my gift card purchasing away from Staples. All said and done, I’m effectively getting a 12% discount at Amazon, and for my family, that’s significant.

Well, this week OfficeMax and Office Depot are offering a potentially lucrative promotion on prepaid Visa gift cards.

Super Easy: 500 Free Points For Following Marriott On Instagram

Marriott-Rewards-Bonus-Points

Marriott Rewards is offering 500 bonus points if you follow them on Instagram by June 21, 2016.

Simply follow them at @marriottrewards, and then submit your email address at marriottrewards.com/instagram, near the middle of the page.

I’m not sure if Marriott even has a way of verifying whether you’ve follow them on Instagram or not, since they’re simply asking you to enter your email address on file with your Marriott Rewards account.

Once you enter your email you’ll simply see the bar where you entered the info turn green, with a check mark. Bonus points should post within four weeks.

Earn Up To 10,500 Miles For Referring Friends To Airberlin

airberlin

Nowadays it’s pretty rare to see an airline offer free miles just for registering for a frequent flyer program and agreeing to receive emails. It’s also rare for them to offer a referral program, where you can earn miles if you get a friend to sign-up for a frequent flyer program.

Airberlin has been one of the more generous airlines in that regard, and at the moment they’re even more generous than usual.

Through July 31, 2016, you can earn up to 1,000 miles for each friend you refer to airberlin’s topbonus program. Your friend earns the same bonus (which will come in the form of 500 miles upon registration, and a further 500 miles within three days), after they’ve signed up and registered to receive airberlin’s newsletter. There’s no other activity required to take advantage of this bonus.

You earn 500 bonus miles for your first referral, and then 1,000 bonus miles for each additional referral. Each member can earn bonus miles for up to 10 referrals per year; in other words, a member can earn at most 9,500 bonus miles by referring 10 friends to airberlin’s program.

Receive 100 Starpoints For Bidding On An SPG Moments Package

O2-Arena-Suite-SPG - 9

SPG Moments is Starwood’s experiences marketplace. As much as my preference is generally to redeem Starpoints for free flights and hotels, this can actually be a great use of points as well. I think it’s an especially brilliant offering since a lot of road warriors don’t actually want to spend any more time on the road, so SPG Moments gives them an opportunity to redeem points for loved ones without having to travel even more. I’m also happy to see that Marriott Rewards is adopting this concept.

I’ve attended several SPG Moments events, including:

— Being in the SPG Suite at the US Open
— Being in the SPG Suite at a One Direction concert at The O2 in London
— Being in the SPG Suite at an Adele concert at The O2 in London

SPG Moments come in two forms:

Earn 350-700 Free American AAdvantage Miles!

American-Anniversary

Here’s a super easy way to earn up to 700 free AAdvantage miles.

American AAdvantage is celebrating their 35th anniversary, so they’re giving away 350,000 AAdvantage miles to 35 grand prize winners. Now, personally I wouldn’t be posting about the sweepstakes in and of itself, since your odds of winning are very low.

However, the reason the contest is worth entering is because you receive 350 free AAdvantage miles just for entering.

Simply follow this link to the promotion registration page, where you’ll be prompted to enter your name, email address, and AAdvantage number. To earn 350 bonus AAdvantage miles, just tell American which milestone you’re saving miles for, like a birthday, anniversary, etc.
