Check If You’re Eligible For A Targeted Offer Through The CardMatch Tool

In the interest of full disclosure, One Mile At A Time earns a referral bonus for anyone that’s approved through some of the below links. These are the best publicly available offers that we have found for each card. Please check out our advertiser policy for further details about the partners we work with. Thanks for your support!

The CardMatch Tool, which is offered by creditcards.com, often gives people access to bigger targeted card sign-up bonuses. In order to use the tool you have to enter your name, address, and last four of your social security number, and based on that, it may make certain non-publicly available bonuses available to you.

For example, at the moment many are reporting that the CardMatch Tool is offering an Amex Platinum Card 100K sign-up bonus after spending $5,000 within three months. After entering your info at the link above, you might have to click on either “Pre-Qualified” or “CardMatch Special Offers” on the left side of the page to find this offer.

This is significantly better than the current publicly available bonus of 60K Membership Rewards points.

Again, this is targeted, so not everyone will be eligible. As a matter of fact, most people probably won’t be eligible for it. However, in general it makes sense to check the CardMatch Tool periodically to see if you’re targeted for any offers. Hopefully some of you are eligible for this 100K Amex Platinum Card offer and can take advantage of this — if you’re targeted I think it’s an absolute no brainer.

Were you targeted for any increased bonuses through the CardMatch Tool?

  1. @Eugene – make sure, in the left side of the
capital one offers, you click on the button that says “targeted” offers. I first only saw the capital one offe4rs, then clicked the other button and the Amex offer popped up. I applied and was approved instantly.

  2. You have to go under “special offers” to view the AMEX deal instead of the Capital One crap! I applied for the card and was approved almost instantly! I did it earlier today hopefully this deal last so others like me can take advantage of it. By far the greatest points offer ever on the Platinum.

  3. Thanks for posting this Lucky! I got the 100k targeted bonus. Make sure you click on “targeted” offers, I almost missed it.

  4. Strange, I got the 100,000 point offer for Amex Platinum but I already have the Platinum card. It also offered me 50,000 for Amex Premier Rewards Gold, which I also have. I just got the PRG with a 50,000 point offer a few months ago. Too good to believe I could get that again.

  5. People should not feel apprehensive sharing intimate details about their lives with random websites just so they can make a few hundred bucks more. Be assured.

Your identity has already been stolen so there is nothing to save. Putin already knows what color underwear you wear.

  6. Does anyone know which credit reporting agency CardMatch uses? I keep my credit frozen on all three but would only like to unfreeze one, if possible, to check for offers…

  7. No “Targeted” offers for me. Nothing but a few Chase cards, Alaska Air and Bank of America crap cards..

  8. I didn’t get the platinum offer but amex PRG came up as 50k points with only $1k spend in 3 mos.

  9. I don’t see any “Targeted” section either, only “pre qualified” with all the Capital One crap cards and an “All offers”, with a few Chase an BoA, but no Amex…

  10. And now the website is down…for me at least. Tells me something’s wrong, they’re working on it, and to check back in a few minutes.

  11. I was targeted for the 100k offer last night and started the application, but was distracted by an issue with my toddler, and the application timed out. Now I can’t get the offer to show again on CardMatch (even after trying a few times), and I called AmEx twice but they’re treating me like I’m crazy. Ugh. Hopefully it’ll show up again soon.

  12. for those having trouble, try going incognito mode, I had similar issues last night until I tried and was approved for 100k platinum offer

  13. Mine came right up to the 100k offer.. Not looking for an Amex Plat right now, but nice to know it’s out there.

  14. hello. i didnt get an offer for the amex platinum but i got targeted for 50,000 mr points for the amex premier rewards gold card (amex website is currently offering 25,000).

  15. This is preposterous since the site recommends Chase Saphire and Chase Freedom Unlimited but I am well over the 5/24 rule. If I was unknowledgeable I would apply, get a hard pull and have a ding on my report for being declined. The information is not reliable. I wish it was since I would love to apply for the Saphire card…

  17. I had the AMEX Platinum a couple of years ago and downgraded to the AMEX Green. I have just been targeted for the AMEX Platinum upgrade for 60K points with $5K spend. Would I still be eligible for the 100K points in this case?

  18. I didn’t get ANY Amex. card offers.Just Chase and B of A.Is there a way to find those that would apply to me?
