News is just breaking that an EgyptAir flight between Paris and Cairo, MS804, has disappeared from radar. Per a Tweet from EgyptAir:
The flight was scheduled to depart Paris at 10:45PM and land in Cairo at 3:05AM. It’s now after 5AM in Cairo, and the plane hasn’t landed. The flight was operated by an Airbus A320.
Per flightradar24, here’s where the plane seems to lose radar contact, somewhere over the Mediterranean Sea:

yeah, Lucky should write on the Egypt Air fare savings that happens after these major air disasters!
I took Egyptair a couple of weeks ago, Munich-Cairo, booked after the hijacking incident and decided on that flight because it was direct and good timing, even though other options were cheaper. As it happened it was a great flight: perfect spring afternoon over The Alps and down The Adriatic. Not sure if I would make the same choice again regardless of the cause of this event.
As always the comments are great so far and really on point.

Seems like an Airbus A320-232, instead of a Boeing 737-800.
I think other sources mentioned that flight was operated with A320?
