For the one person who has been in outer space for the past month, right now we’re seeing the best ever sign-up bonus on American Express’ co-branded Starwood cards, including the Starwood Preferred Guest® Credit Card from American Express and Starwood Preferred Guest® Business Credit Card from American Express.

  • For the Starwood Preferred Guest® Credit Card from American Express, get 25,000 bonus Starpoints after you use your new card to make $3,000 in purchases within three months. Then, earn an extra 10,000 bonus Starpoints® after you make an additional $2,000 in purchases within the first 6 months. There’s a $0 introductory annual fee for the first year, then $95

I value Starpoints at 2.2 cents each, so to me the 35,000 bonus Starpoints are worth $770. These are points which can be redeemed for free nights, a combination of flights and hotel stays, or converted into airline miles.

Anecdotally the cards are also quite easy to be approved for, including the business version of the card, which Ford recently applied for. So even if you might not have otherwise considered a business card in the past, I’d seriously consider it.

If you’ve been waiting, this is your last chance to apply!

And this is the last you’ll hear from me about this offer. 😉

  1. 2 SPG posts in one day….someone is getting desperate…
“For the one person who has been in outer space for the past month” LOL

  2. And we can bet that we will hear about this again tomorrow, probably once in the morning as a ‘last chance’ and then once the offer is pulled.

  3. Lucky my ink+ card was rejected. Can you pull your special connections to get it approved? I think you deserve the referral for such special services rendered. Otherwise reddit and flyertalk chatter as well.

Come on I know you can do it.

  4. Hi Lucky,

Just signed up yesterday via your link for the SPG card. Can you may be consider an updated article for best airline transfers & sample destinations/tix for after meeting minimum spend & taking into account the SPG transfer bonus? Thanks!

  5. LOL and he was telling people a few days ago was the last day because of when AMEX ‘receives’ the application.

pretty slimy to use such practices just to get referral points, but i guess thats what every blogger does.

  6. I don’t understand why people have to come up to somebody’s blog and complain about what he writes like somebody forced you to go to his page. This is his business, his blog, he can post whatever the hell he wants. You don’t have to click on his links, you don’t have to read what he writes. If you don’t like it, bye Felicia!
