As I first wrote about last week, Hyatt Gold Passport will be undergoing some system maintenance this week. During this outage period it won’t be possible to access your account information or perform any functions involving your points (including redeeming, purchasing, combining, etc.). However, you’ll still earn Gold Passport points as usual for stays during this period, except they’ll be delayed in posting.
This outage will last from December 15-18, which means today is the last day to redeem points before the outage. While things will hopefully be back to normal as of this weekend, keep in mind that account activity accrued after December 12, 2015, won’t be reflected in your account until the week of December 28, 2015.
So if you’re missing points from previous stays, now would be a great time to take a look at your account and make sure all points have posted as they should.
I think I have all my Hyatt travel locked in for the rest of the year (I’ll even be spending New Year’s at a Hyatt), so I don’t foresee having any issues with the outage. Here’s to hoping I don’t have any last minute travel come up!
