7,500 Bonus Aeroplan Miles With Club Carlson

Yesterday I posted about a great promotion being run by Club Carlson, whereby they’re offering 7,500 bonus AAdvantage miles after two Radisson stays between now and December 15, 2014. The best part is that it seems to be stackable with the other promotions out there, including triple Club Carlson points on weekdays, as well as 3,000 bonus Club Carlson points for making reservations through the mobile app.

One other thing I should note is that there seem to be two versions of the promotion. There’s the promotion offering 7,500 bonus AAdvantage miles after two stays, but there’s also a version offering 7,500 bonus Aeroplan miles after two Radisson stays. The terms are virtually identical in that the promotion is valid for stays through December 15, 2014. The only difference is that registration is actually open through December 14, 2014, while it’s only available through October 15, 2014, on the American version of the promotion.

As I explained yesterday, you don’t have to change your earnings preference from Gold Points to miles in order to earn these bonus miles. They’re truly a bonus on top of what you’d otherwise earn. Interestingly the terms & conditions of both promotions don’t reference the other version of the offer.

Logically I would assume you can’t earn the bonus for both the AAdvantage and Aeroplan promotions on the same stays. That being said, you are able to register for both promotions, so who knows… crazier things have happened. Maybe it’s possible to qualify for one promotion for your first two stays and then the other promotion for the third and fourth stays. I wouldn’t count on it, but with how vague Club Carlson promotion terms & conditions are, you never know…

Regardless, if nothing else you now have a choice between AAdvantage and Aeroplan miles when it comes to this promotion.

One thing I should also note is that Points + Cash stays do qualify for the purposes of this promotion. Originally I was under the impression they didn’t, but I was wrong.

  1. Are pre-paid, non-refundable rates eligible? The terms say: at a rate eligible for Gold Points. I cannot find anything that clarifies this.
