What’s especially awesome about this promotion is that it stacks nicely with Virgin America’s “Loyalty Made Me Do It” promotion. They’re offering 500 points just for joining Elevate, and an additional 7,500 Elevate points after you take your first flight in first class. There are some great ways to take advantage of this promotion, like the $219 first class fare between San Francisco and San Diego.

Factoring in the 20% discount, that fare is now $178.

If you’re looking for the absolute cheapest first class segment to take advantage of this promotion, it looks like Virgin America has a $159 one-way first class fare between San Francisco and Portland, factoring in the 20% discount.

If you haven’t yet signed up for the “Loyalty Made Me Do It” promotion, my friend and colleague Mac made me aware of that promotion and this 20% off promotion as well, so if you’d like to sign up for the promotion feel free to use his referral link. When you sign up through his link you’ll earn 500 bonus points upon enrolling, and an additional 2,500-7,500 bonus points after your first flight.

Comments

  1. Why do you always pad out your posts with text copied from other sources (eg terms and conditions here, or when you type out what a press release says and then copy the text from the press release too which is almost exactly what you’ve just said). It seems as though you don’t actually have much to say but rather you’re just trying to pretend like you have a lot to get more posts out

  2. Why do you OFTEN pass on information in your blog that I have no access to nor have time to research myself? It makes scanning Boarding Aera’s headlines so useful.

  3. Sam, don’t you know he gets paid more internet dollars for every word just like a newspaper journalist gets paid real dollars? /sarcasm

Thanks Ben for pointing this out. VX still has the best domestic product and service out there for those of us lucky enough to home base out of SFO and travel within VX’s route network.
