British Airways’ latest advert — 2013: Today. Tomorrow.

Today British Airways unveiled their latest TV advert:

My gosh, is it just me, or is that intense? Makes me feel like I need a drink, and it’s not even noon. I thought “The Conjuring” was more mild than this. šŸ˜‰

Love it? Hate it? Or just feel like you need a horse tranquilizer after watching it?

I think they should’ve brought back “mum” for another round of adverts!

  1. Not sure I agree with you on this ad being very intense — seems like a typical high-concept ad spot. Perhaps, it’s because I just finished watching the “Visit Mum” spot and am rapidly running out of Kleenex šŸ˜‰

  2. I like it, the ad looks pretty cool and unusual. Goes to show how much thought process goes into the flying. Just the little notches on the tail or the mechanics of the seat. Details matter which are invisible in the grand scheme of things matter!

    This one doesn’t do anything for me to make me fly BA; it’s a bit disturbing, actually.

    The SQ ad, on the other hand…

  4. I’m surprised they chose to promote the 787 in this ad instead of the 380, they should have at least done both. IMO, the 380 is more impressive in the eyes of the average customer.

  5. I loved this ad. maybe not tugging at the heartstrings like the mum ad, but this ad got me inspired in a way I can’t fully explain in words.. I love ads such as these. keep up posts like these.
