Win 30,000 Starpoints courtesy of the Starwood American Express — only six hours to enter!

As I mentioned in my review of the St. Regis Monarch Beach yesterday, the Starwood American Express has given me 30,000 Starpoints to give away to one lucky blog reader. The window to enter will only last for six hours, till 5PM ET today.

How to enter:

1. Follow me on Twitter @OneMileataTime

2. Tweet me letting me know where you’d go with 30,000 Starpoints using the hashtag #spgamexOneMile.

An example of an eligible Tweet would be:

@OneMileataTime I would spend eight nights at the Le Meridien Chiang Rai #spgamexOneMile

The fine print:

It’s that simple! To be eligible you have to enter between 11AM ET and 5PM ET today (in other words, in the next six hours). You can find all the fine print of the promotion here. Some of the fine print includes:

  • You have to be at least 18 and a resident of the US to qualify
  • Only one entry is allowed per person/Twitter account
  • Winner is responsible for paying taxes on the value of the prize
  • A winner will be announced within 24 hours

Good luck and please let me know in the comments section if you have any questions!

Update: Thanks to everyone that entered. The winner was @HBRuss.

  1. I’m only going if Lucky comes along to provide access to platinum-level breakfasts (ok…or Andrew B to provide comedic observations) 😉
    Thanks for the contest!

  2. Love that they made a T&C for your contest specifically! haha anyway the T&C has a section for ARV but it doesn’t specify how much. So can you find out how much it’d be? I still will be entering but not sure I’d want them if the ARV is some ridiculous total. I’d probably value them at no more than $750 on which taxes would be slightly less than the cost to MFC that many points. Thanks.

  3. Twitter, seriously? Are you intentionally making me feel like an old person in that I refuse to deal with such technical innovation?

  4. Winner responsible for paying taxes on the value of the prize, yet no value is stated in the value section of the official rules.

  5. @ Matt B — Hey, if you’re savvy enough to read a blog you’re savvy enough for Twitter. 😀
