The winner will also have to complete a W9 (ARV of prize is $1,250). If anyone needs any clarification, feel free to ask below in the comments section or email me.

A winner will be picked at random within a week of the end of the giveaway. Each eligible Tweet and comment counts as one entry, so the more days you enter, the better your chance of winning.

Good luck!

Comments

  1. I’d use 20,000 points to convert into airline miles to put towards my flights (getting the 5,000 mile bonus). I’d use 26,000 points for a week at the Le Méridien Chiang Rai Resort. That leaves me with 4,000 points left over to use to upgrade one night in Chiang Rai to a suite.

  2. Intrigued by the number 50K
and the fact that it’s ~ 50K miles around the equator

I’d like to give the 50 K SPG Points to one of our on line award booking services with a request / challenge:

Design me an itinerary to go around the equator, making as many stops as necessary @ SPG hotels, using the 50 K points / or points + cash & visiting as many countries as possible . No trip duration limitations.

I think this trip would be an adventure as well as a fantastic , creative challenge to design.

Please give my proposal serious consideration . Thanks

  3. I would treat my Indian family to a long weekend in the Maldives, or Mumbai, or Sri Lanka or anywhere in India!

  4. I’d combine the prize with my existing spg balance so I could transfer to AS miles to redeem in CX F to South Africa.

  5. I’d transfer to AA and take one way business award from the US to Asia as 50k spg pts transfers into 60k AA miles

  6. Since the 5th night is free it would actually cover 6 nights in Carlsbad at the Sheraton connected to Legoland. My kids would flip!

  7. I’d book convert the points into AAdvantage miles and put them toward a flight to Kathmandu (continuing on to Bhutan!) #SPGAMEX

  8. I’d use 10,000 more SPG points to get a category 3 nights & flights redemption to get to europe in business class with free nights at an SPG hotel!

  10. 50k SPG points? That would get me to the South Pacific on any airline partner that allows one way awards. Not enough points to get back home? Not the worst problem to have…

  61. 4 nights at the Westin Maui, after I get there on one of the incredibly cheap fares that have been popping up lately.

  62. My mom’s always said she would only travel to Europe with me if I could take her in style. I’ve been hoarding Avios for years so the airfare is nearly taken care of. The Starwood points would be used for very nice lodging.

  63. I’d spend those miles at the Al Maha in Dubai (and burn a bunch of united miles to get there in style). I found it when I was perusing spg tier 7 properties and have always thought of it as a dream vacation destination, which I couldn’t afford without a copious amount of points.

  81. 50k Starpoints would take my wife and me to Hawaii! (transfer to Avios for redemption on AA LAX-HNL/OGG/etc)
