Enter here to win a seat next to Randy Petersen on Star MegaDo 4!

Star MegaDo 4 will be held in November, which is more or less the greatest airline nerd-fest, with behind the scene opportunities with both airlines and hotels. Thanks to Randy Petersen, Boarding Area bloggers will be giving away two seats on the charter. You can find all the rules for the giveaway here, though the gist is that 29 Boarding Area bloggers will be participating, and one winner will be picked at random from each of the 29 blogs. Of those 29 winners, two will be selected to receive the seats on Star Mega Do 4.

Entry period

You can enter once on this blog between now and 11:59PM Mountain Time on Sunday, October 7. Keep in mind there are 29 blogs participating, though you can only enter once on each blog.

The prize

You can win an aisle or window seat next to Randy Petersen on Star Mega Do 4, hotel accommodations, and $250 for personal expenses.

How to enter

In the comments section below let me know which airline you’d like to try that you haven’t flown yet. Be sure you use a valid email address, as that’s how I’ll be contacting the winner.

Thanks to Randy for this awesome giveaway and thanks to everyone that participates. Good luck!

  1. Yes! Because I’m excited about the lower cabin altitude and bigger windows on my way to 1k status!!!

  2. This is tough because I’ve flown SQ in Y and LH in Euro-Y but I’d love to try their F products. Given the question counts them out I’ll say OZ and CX but give the edge to OZ for their new F suite.

  3. Singapore Airlines in a suite on the A380, though I’d be too excited to sleep a wink on the full size bed.

  4. I’ve heard a lot about ANA’s premium cabins, but haven’t had the chance to fly them since I try to stick with OneWorld.

  5. I’d like to try Asiana business or first because your trip reports look great. I’d also like to visit Korea so I can do the Gangnam Style dance.

  6. Well, my list earlier this year included SQ, EK, LX, and TG, but I got those done. I guess I’ll go with Qantas A380 First.

  7. If I have a window or aisle, wouldn’t Randy get the middle seat? Poor dude. I’d switch seats with him.

  8. Not sure why you want to know which airline we want to try. Will you get us a free ticket? will you fly it and review it?

    LY in First

  9. Emirates! I’ve heard some good reviews of friends who really liked their coach service, so I can only imagine what the higher classes are like.

  10. I don’t go out of the country often, so I would try Virgin America just to see what they were like.

  11. Five years is a long time. But, pessimisim aside, we are all going to keep finding ways to travel the world through incredible deals. Especially by communicating great finds instantly throughout our unique, if diverse and sometimes fragmented, community. Its always going to be too hard for the average traveller to follow this fastinating pursuit.

  12. I’ve never flown Singapore, so that would be #1, even in coach. Then Emirates, but only to take a shower in an airplane in first class.

  13. Singapore Airlines suites class is my very long term dream. Back to reality: my 2 next booked trips on Jetblue.

  14. I am an x B727 pilot , and would love to fly the B787 and take a look at the cockpit to see how much things changed.

  15. I’d like to try Emirates first and Swiss first, as they’re among some of the hardest awards to book!

  16. I have actually never flown Lufthansa even tho, Star elite (every level but 1k) over past couple years, though Emirates would be a treat since I’m a Manchester City fan!

Flown over 10 star partners too!

  17. 1. Cathay (YVR-HKG) – based on your reviews, an aspiration trip in first class to hkg is in my future – coincidentally a move to SeaTac is in my future too.

    2. Lufthansa (IAH-Frankfurt)
    3. Qantas (DFW-SYD) – will be flying this route next year in biz

  18. Looking to try out SQ F. I want to compare it to CX F. Thanks to the award inventory glitch i’m flying next year IAH-DME-SIN and return in J on all J A340.

Hopefully some of the RGN deals will be honored as i’m booked in Suites

  19. I would like to try ANA – and hopefully in first class as they should have a really good product 🙂

  20. I shared tips on spending miles with a stranger last flight last week. We have become friends and found out that we have something in common in term of research/work!

  21. Definitely Turkish. If their airline is run with the same sense of hospitality as you find in the country, it must be unbeatable!

  22. Singapore or Lufthansa first or biz..
Actually, any international premium cabin. I’ve only ever flown coach internationally!
