Milepoint Premium Membership is an amazing deal!

It occurred to me today I’ve never blogged about this, though I guess it’s better late than never.

Milepoint offers a Premium Membership for $59, which comes with many benefits including 2,000 United MileagePlus miles, 2,000 Hyatt Gold Passport points (or Hyatt Platinum status), 20% off ExpertFlyer, a free GoGo pass, free Executive Status with National Emerald Club, and more (click the link above to see a full list of benefits).

I value United miles at 1.8 cents each and value Hyatt points at 1.6 cents each. So those two things alone are worth $68 to me, more than the cost of membership.  I also use ExpertFlyer and will save $20 next year on my membership thanks to the offer. Then you get a ton of other benefits that are icing on the cake.

Anyway, I know supplies are limited (apparently they actually are, not like in an infomercial), so if you have any sort of a United or Hyatt points balance I’d highly recommend taking advantage of this.

  1. I value united at 1c/point and Hyatt at 0 (rarely ever stay there. There are so few properties and never in locations that I travel to. Hence the status and points have no value to me. It’s a no deal for me

  2. I signed up. Going to use free gogo pass soon. Just registered for free year of InsideFlyer that’s included too. As a newbie, any and all benefits are appreciated.

  3. Aside from the signup perks, is there another reason to signup for premium membership? Ie are there other promotions or perks throughout the year that premium members benefit from perhaps? Just wondering.

  4. @Steve,
I guess AwardWallet is kinda useful if you have many airlines and hotels accounts. I am new and just bought it today. In the past, I used GoMiles.com to combine my airline/hotel accounts. it is free and have less functionalities.
