A couple of weeks ago I shared the details of Hyatt’s fall promotion, valid for stays between September 1 and November 30, 2012. Registration finally became available today, and is open through October 31, 2012.
As a reminder, through this promotion you earn incrementally more points for each stay you make, as follows:
Stay Earn Total Bonus Points Earned
5 Nights + 5,000 bonus points = 5,000
10 Nights + 10,000 bonus points = 15,000
15 Nights + 10,000 bonus points = 25,000
20 Nights + 10,000 bonus points = 35,000
25 Nights + 10,000 bonus points = 45,000
30 Nights + 10,000 bonus points = 55,000
35 Nights + 10,000 bonus points = 65,000
In other words you earn 5,000 bonus points after staying five nights, and an additional 10,000 bonus points after each additional five nights, up to a maximum of 65,000 bonus points. If you have the Chase Hyatt Visa credit card you get a 20% points bonus, meaning you earn an additional 1,000 points after your first five stays, and an additional 2,000 points after each subsequent five nights, for a maximum of 78,000 Gold Passport points during the promotion period.
While it’s not the most exciting promotion in the world it’s definitely worth registering for. I’m still anxiously waiting to see what Starwood has in store for us in the fourth quarter, as they haven’t announced any promotions yet.
