1,000 SPG points for completing a quick survey

Via Starwood Lurker, Starwood is offering 1,000 SPG points for completing a survey on your social media habits by this Friday, March 9. You should include your SPG number in the last field asking for your name and email address, and the points are supposed to post within 30 days.

  1. Does adding points through these kinds of promotions extend the expiration date of SPG points?

    Why is SPG asking this? If they developed this tool it would just depress their most frequent customers.

  3. Looks like the survey is now closed (the survey came up per the link, but when I completed it, I got a message saying it was closed)

  4. Lurker says it was anticipated to close on the 9th but it closed after 3 hours after hitting its limit lol.
