Reminder: Still time to register for Chicago Seminar Do!

I’ve written in the past about the Chicago Seminar Do, which will be held at the Holiday Inn Elk Grove October 28-30, 2011. It’s a weekend dedicated to miles and points, and can be very educational regardless of whether you’re a newbie or pro.

Gary will be speaking about award bookings, Rick will be speaking about credit cards, Brian will be speaking about American Express, and I’ll be speaking about mileage running and hotel programs.

The event costs $75 for the two days of seminars and two lunches. Registration is open through October 14 and can be found here. As of now there are just under 100 spots left.

I’ve often been asked whether the event covers things that aren’t otherwise covered on blogs, and whether the content this year will be different than that of last year’s seminar. I’ve started working on my presentations, and the answers to both of those is “yes.” I’ll be sharing some mileage run and hotel tricks that I’ve never covered on the blog, and that haven’t been covered on any blog, as far as I know. There will even be a “hands on” mileage run seminar, so I suggest bringing your laptop along.

Hope to see lots of you there!

  1. @ qbrain — My Starwood and hands on mileage run seminars are sold out, though there’s still space for the Priority Club/Hyatt and the general mileage run seminars.

  2. Presumably there will be no shows, so is there any process for space opening up? Also, since the host hotel is sold out, what do you think about booking 2 different nearby hotels to get 2 GS hits and a cheap car rental or maybe 2?
