  1. Definitely just west of Panmunjon. At least at one point, that flagpole was the world’s largest. I heard that (perhaps only in the past) they told tourists at the S. Korean side of the DMZ that the town is fake – just 2d clapboard facing South Korea. This is definitely not true – it’s a real town.

  2. Yup – It’s just across the DMZ in North Korea. It’s greased slick and on top is the key to freedom.
