Hyatt is offering a special rate when paying with an American Express credit card for stays at select hotels in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, through March 31, using offer code AX436. You can stay three nights for the price of two, though based on the searches I’ve done, it appears that you have to pay the “flexible” rate for the first two nights in order to get the third night free, though the stay is non-refundable.
The offer is valid at the following hotels:
Hyatt Regency Dushanbe, Hyatt Regency Warsaw, Park Ararat Hyatt Moscow, Hyatt Regency Kiev, Park Hyatt Istanbul – Macka Palas, Grand Hyatt Amman, Park Hyatt Jeddah, Park Hyatt Hamburg, Hyatt Regency Sharm El Sheikh, Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill, Hyatt Regency Ekaterinburg, Hyatt Regency Mainz, Grand Hyatt Berlin, Grand Hyatt Doha, Hyatt Regency Johannesburg, Grand Hyatt Istanbul, Hyatt Regency Dusseldorf, Hyatt Regency Thessaloniki, Hyatt Regency Taba Heights, Hyatt Regency Oubaai Golf Resort and Spa, Grand Hyatt Cairo, Hyatt Regency Cologne, Hyatt Regency Almaty, Hyatt Regency Belgrade, Grand Hyatt Dubai, Park Hyatt Dubai, Hyatt Regency Dubai, Grand Hyatt Muscat and Hyatt Regency Birmingham.
Based on my call to Hyatt, you still earn points and stay credits on these stays, and can also use Diamond confirmed suite upgrades.
In many cases this may not be a great deal, since oftentimes the cost of two nights at the flexible rate is more than the cost of three nights at the advance purchase rate. It worked out perfectly for me, though. I had a three night stay planned at one of the hotels above, and was planning on using points. Instead, I’ll rebook using this deal, apply a confirmed suite upgrade, and end up paying about $150/night, when the normal rate is about $250/night.
