Guess the amenity at the InterContinental Frankfurt!

6

I find the InterContinental Frankfurt to be one of the best hotel values out there, though one aspect of my stay always cracks me up — the Royal Ambassador welcome amenity. It’s not that they’re cheap about the amenity like the Hyatt Regency Mainz, offering four apples, but rather the amenities seem to be the most random things imaginable.

During my first stay, a few years back, I received “coffeepeeling” as an amenity. To this day, I don’t know what it is, though here’s a picture:

This time, in addition to a few bottles of water and bar of chocolate, I received this:

It appears to be liquid chocolate in a jar…? That’ll be great for, uhm, dipping my hot nuts in, on United?

I can’t wait to return, if for no other reason than to see what amenity they can come up with next!

In the present world with high technologies and environment pollution, we should take care of our health. A health is the priority now to look beautiful. Any woman is deemed beautiful should her skin, hair and nails look perfect and fresh. And to stay attractive and look splendid, we need to take regular procedures to keep our skin in tone and suspend ageing. And peeling is one of the important and groundwork procedure to having healthy skin and beautiful body.

We know our skin is also known as the epidermis. Apart from protecting functions, the skin contacts with the outer organisms, thus keratinized dead cell shells pile on the skin surface. From time to time the shells should be removed to avoid clogging skin pores. On the top of it, the skin should be intensively nourished by oxygen. Yet, a shower or bath or just washing is not enough to remove dead cells.

You always may seek for the help of professionals who offer peeling among other effective procedures. Peeling is the technique to remove dead cells by applying substances consisting fine abrasive particles as the components. The most demanded is grind coffee. Lots of Spa-centers offer today grind coffee peeling. Though, if you think you cannot afford expensive services of Spa-centers, you may try it at home.

This is a gentle body skin cleansing. Skin is moisturized and nourished with raising elasticity and resulting in the high spirits and feeling of easiness. Coffee is widely used in cosmetology due to high concentration of caffeine. It promotes biochemical processes in cells, stimulates fission and excretion of fat and struggles with cellulite. Coffee beans contain vitamins of Group B, organic acids, fat, protein, oil and carbohydrate, which wholly facilitate rehabilitation of skin elasticity, prevents pre-mature ageing, it has anti-inflammatory and sun-protection features, it softens and moistens the skin. Raw coffee beans affect as strong antioxidant agent. Aroma of coffee improves the respiratory function of the lungs and stimulates the function of the brain as well.

The cosmetologists usually employ special products by branded cosmetic companies. These products contain crushed non-roasted coffee beans that serve as abrasives, aroma essences and other active ingredients. Oil as the component of such a product is better first to apply onto the skin, since it is very easy to injury the skin with pure grind coffee. Apply some stuff to the skin with like strokes. If you have a peeling procedure just after you have sauna, it is the best way since your skin is already softened and sensitive to any external impacts. It's always up to your choice to have peeled the whole body or some particular areas. Most frequently zones of thighs, buttocks, belly, and upper part of hands are peeled. This procedure is rather effective if done by the specialist, since the procedure exfoliates the dead cells of the skin, it cleanse tenderly and goes deep into the skin layer, it nourishes and moisturizes the skin. Besides, peeling facilitates cleaning the organism from waste products and toxins, it improves micro-circulation of blood, stimulates regeneration of cells of the upper layer of skin. You will definitely feel relaxed and cheerful once you feel the aroma of coffee and your skin will be thankful for fresh feelings compensating with smooth, velvet and delicate skin.

The whole procedure of the peeling usually takes about 20 minutes, and then you need to take a shower removing the coffee remainder. Apply some moisturizers or massage cream to your body after the peeling. If you use special anticellulite products after the peeling procedure, you will intensify effect thereof. The frequency of peeling procedures is determined by the professional cosmetologist who considers the course subject to your skin type, depth of effect and your skin reaction. Nevertheless, it should not be more than twice a week.

Most fashionmongers and celebrities take peeling procedures before they go to the solarium to properly get ready for peeling procedure. It is worth doing for after peeling the tan lies evenly and splendidly. The same, peeling is considered as the first stage prior to other cosmetic methods as wrapping procedure or masks, either as the preparation phase of the program on modeling body contours, rejuvenation procedure and detoxication of the organism. If you struggle with excess weight and cellulite, peeling is necessary stage for you.

Thus, you only multiple the efficacy of the major procedure. Peeling with an appropriate diet is the perfect technique to get rid of excess weight, cellulite and rough skin. You may evaluate the result of the procedure at first visit, you see how your skin lifts and gets pinky. It is happy!

You are also welcome to try coffee peeling at home, and you only need some grind coffee or coffee-grounds. The scrub will be more effective if you add some cream or cosmetic milk to the coffee since the skin is more sensitive to pure coffee, anyway. The best option is some olive oil to add to coffee. For oily skin type you may use blend of coffee with liquid soap or shower gel, kind of unique Body Scrub, natural one. Apply the mixture to the skin with light round strokes and rinse under running water in a while.

However, bear in mind that coffee peeling is not recommended when you have malignant neoplasms, skin injuries, acute inflammatory and infectious diseases, chronic dermatitis in acute form, parasitic and dermatophytid, allergic dermatitis, reaction to the components of the peeling agents. In case you want the procedure in any way, seek for the professional advice of the specialist. Strong contraindication to coffee peeling is pregnancy and period of lactation.

Lucky, I think the Schoko spread is similar to either Nutella or dulce du leche chocolate spread. So I gather, it goes well on top of bread, bananas, or ice cream. But what exactly is the coffee peeling with orange?

Dipping your hot nuts in chocolate?

    So many inappropriate jokes.
