New members: Priority Club Platinum status after five stays

Priority Club is offering new members Platinum status after only five stays within 90 days of registration. Priority Club Platinum is generally the easiest top tier status to earn anyway, requiring 60,000 points. What makes Priority Club unique is that all points, including purchased points, points through promotions, etc., qualify for status. You also get a $25 hotel gift card if you complete the promotion. This can be especially lucrative in conjunction with Priority Club’s Sweet Dilemma promotion, offering either double points or one free night for every two stays through the end of the year.

Registration is required for the promotion.

  1. The offer looks like it’s targeted. Even so I read it to say that if you’re targeted, then Priority Club is just flat giving away Platinum status for new members–no stays required. It looks like 5 stays within 90 days of registering are needed to get the $25 gift card.

  2. I finally got around to trying to apply for this, but it doesn’t work–after spending a good 30 minutes on the phone, the agent finally informed me that it is a targeted email offer and unless you got an email, you’re not eligible. Not impressed by the way that was handled, I won’t be joining Priority Club or staying at any IHG properties anytime soon . . .
