TSA worker arrested after colleague makes fun of his small “package”

Ah, the TSA is being professional as always, aren’t they? Check out this NBC Miami article:

A TSA worker in Miami was arrested for aggravated battery after police say he attacked a colleague who’d made fun of his small genitalia after he walked through one of the new high-tech security scanners during a recent training session.

Rolando Negrin, 44, was busted for assault after things got ugly at Miami International Airport between Negrin and some of his fellow Transportation Security Administration workers on Tuesday.

For the record, that’s not why I refuse to go through the full body scanner…

  1. I have no idea the scanner is capable of imaging the detail of your genitalia, I thought the best they could do is reveal your undies……. It must be a joy to work as a TSA scanner operator.

  2. @caelus — I suspect that for everyone the machine shows the same small or nothing package, which is apparently what this guy has to work with.

I wonder what the scanner would show if they looked at TSA employees’ brain size?

  3. As the nude-o-scopes become more widespread, perhaps United should consider more upsells at their checkin kiosks, spit out a boarding pass and ExtenZe…

  4. I didn’t think they showed that much detail and this story doesn’t necessarily change my thoughts on that. The one guy probably just joked with the wrong guy in the class.
