I’ve booked hundreds of awards in my lifetime, but this one takes the cake, and I don’t mean that in a good way. Stay tuned.

So a fun update, had to cancel the MIA-IST & MCO-LHR portions of the trip (~ 1/3) but at least I'm getting a mileage refund.

I also like the oneway award and you could actually redeem on Oneworld too and no starnet......

@ Chris -- Ouch, very frustrating. I used to think the award desk at AA was good, but not anymore.

@ Despina -- I sure can, but I don't feel the need to block some of my most loyal readers. Someone that comments within an hour of me posting must be a *very* loyal reader. :D

@ Vagabond Jim -- Yeah, that's the plan this year. I say that every year, don't I? But I mean it this year!

@Ripper3785, I was about to respond to @Super80, then I saw your entry. Thanks for the valuable advice. Lesson learned. :)

No, it's not, @Despina. Being able to freely express ideas is one of the benefits of living in a non-dictatorial society.

The sycophants, apologists, and sheep will keep speaking and sucking up to a kid. Find lives, people.

Hypothetical question here. Lucky, is it possible for you to block users from posting on your blog? Looking forward to hearing your story about AA.

I spent 45 min on the phone w/2 AA reps today trying to get a 6:40 layover/misconnect caused by IB fixed. After 15 the first agent, who couldn't understand a 14 segment ticket, said "hold one moment" and TRANSFERRED ME.

2nd agent took 20 min to understand what I wanted (simple explination was offered, "Take MIA-MAD-IST on 3/30 and IST-MAD-SJU turns into IST-MAD-MIA-MCO") FINALLY told me their computer link to IB was down and that...

    What a joke.
