I’ll be back!

Fine, as far as this blog is concerned I’m probably not going anywhere, and I’ll probably even post more than usual with trip updates. Tomorrow morning my brother and I are off on our 20,000+ mile international first class award ticket, with three redeyes in eight days and visits to Istanbul and Hong Kong. It should be a fun time. You can bet I’ll be taking lots of pictures and will be writing a trip report when I get back. Of course I’ll also provide many blog updates, and I’ll even try to include pictures whenever possible.

Most shockingly of all, I’ll make a legitimate effort to Twitter a bit more than usual and will also try to upload pictures to my Flickr photostream during the trip. Those goals might be a bit ambitious for me, but I’ll certainly try!

I apologize in advance if it takes me a bit longer than usual (aka five minutes) to respond to emails while I’m gone.

  1. “Excuse me, Sir, but you need to step Awaaay from the keyboard. Please don’t make a fuss, Sir. We have people who can help you….”

Feel free to just have a good time and create some new memories with your brother. The Internet will still be here when you get back.

  2. Safe Travels. I can wait for the report when you return. Make note of a great Dim Sum place with carts in Hong Kong. I couldn’t find one earlier in the year, though we did enjoy excellent Dim Sum otherwise. I just missed the clanging of the carts.
