  1. After extensive research, using the visual clues (store names, etc.), I’ve deduced that this is Victoria Street, Devonport, Auckland.

  2. I’ll just go ahead and agree…. one link might lie. But two links (posted at the same time no less!)? I’m sold.

  3. We all have Google, no doubt. But I had no idea *where* in the world this was! Frankly, I thought at first it may have been Juneau, or Ketchikan…summer time in any number of ski resorts.

    I was surprised when all indicators pointed to New Zealand. The photo looks so small townish for being in a big city (I’ve never been there, fyi).

  4. Eric, I’m sorry I sounded a little rude. I just took a look at some of the previous pictures and realize that very few of them have such obvious visual cues (cars driven on the left, shop”pe” sign, etc.) and Google would be nearly useless with those other pics!

    Anyway, I think this is cool and have subscribed to the feed. I’ll try to beat the others next week. 🙂

  5. Dang it! I’ve walked in front of that very shop and I definitely remembered it, however, I couldn’t place where I was. I guess I been on the road quite a bit lately 😉
