United raises domestic change fee to $150

Oh man, bad job United! Overnight UA increased their change fees by $50 effective immediately, something which irks quite a few people. The fact that it’s effective immediately and even more importantly was announced overnight right before a weekend just strikes me as a very low blow.

Ultimately I’m betting other airlines will either follow within the next week or United will repeal it. United really does seem to be an innovator lately, although certainly not in actually enhancing their product.
